One-way clutch, commonly known as one-way bearing, is also only a single direction (clockwise or counterclockwise direction) transmission of mechanical transmission of the basic parts. When the power source drives the passive element, it can only drive in a single direction. If the power source changes direction (e.g. from clockwise to counterclockwise), the passive element will automatically disengage from the function of generating no power transmission.
According to the function, one-way clutch can be devided into 4 types:
1,non-return device
The inverter ensures that the conveyor belt system does not reverse rotation after the motor fails.
The backstop ensures that the conveyor belt system does not reverse rotation under gravity in the event of a motor failure or accident.
2,overrunning clutch
In the normal working condition of textile machinery and printing machinery, the function of overrunning clutch is to disengage the auxiliary drive and the main drive used for debugging.
3,Positioning clutch
In textile machinery and printing machinery, the main function of positioning clutch is to make the rotary motion into step motion.
